Iran’s shipments to Africa surpass USD910M in first 7 months…

(MENAFN) The worth of Iran’s shipment to Africa surpassed USD910 million in the opening seven months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-October 22), the vice leader of Iran and Africa Merchants Club declared.

As said by Ruhollah Latifi, Iranian traders shipped 1.787 million tons of goods valued at USD912,100,920 to African nations in the stated seven-month time span, as reported by IRIB.

The representative recorded the overall Iran-Africa seven-month exchange at 1.851 million tons worth USD972.969 million, of which the amount of Iran’s shipment stood at 65,118 tons with a worth of USD60.868 million.

The official stated that the main shipment destinations were the following: South Africa, Mozambique, Sudan, Nigeria, as well as Ghana, whereas Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, in addition to Congo as the main nations of imports of Iran between the African nations in the opening seven months of the current year.

Latifi mentioned that last year exchange among Iran and Africa amounted to USD1.250 billion with a 100 percent expansion, and considering the present trend of exchange with the African continent the number is estimated to amount to USD1.7 billion by the end of the present year (March 20, 2023).
