Grupel goals and expectations for Africa Energy Forum and FILDA 2023

With an experience of close to half a century providing energy solutions for numerous applications, Grupel has been working in Africa for around the last 20 years, having contributed for the development of telecommunication networks, mining sites, infrastructures, water treatment facilities, industries or power plants.

The company will attend both the Africa Energy Forum (AEF), from June 20th to the 23rd, in Nairobi (Kenya), and FILDA, from July 18th to the 22nd, in Luanda (Angola) and expects to show their most recent projects and plans of innovation, while meeting with important players and industry leaders.

At Africa Energy Forum 2023

From June 20th to the 23rd, Grupel’s team will fly over to Nairobi, Kenya, where Africa Energy Forum will take place. The event will bring together ministers, governmental institutions, energy consultants and other industry leaders, and is set to be a great place to expand Grupel’s business network.

Historically, Grupel has had a great experience in Africa and very close relations with several ‘players’ in the continent. Being in an event such as the Africa Energy Forum is very important in the pursuit of Grupel’s strategy, bringing the company even closer to opinion leaders and players who actively participate in the management of energy projects on this continent.

This is the second time Grupel participates in AEF and after a very successful first attempt, Pedro Gonçalves, the company’s Sales and Marketing Director, thinks that “being back to the continent, Grupel is sure to develop its partnerships, and become stronger, in this specific market.”

At FILDA 2023

A month later, from July 18th to the 22nd, the team will head to Luanda, Angola, to participate in FILDA 2023. The country’s greatest international event will gather companies and businesses from many sectors, from construction to mining, oil and gas and other big activities.

For Grupel, it is very important to maintain its positioning as a leading supplier of energy solutions, for applications and contexts as diverse as power plants, WWTPs, mines, oil and gas sites, or industries. Africa proves to be a strategic market in these sectors and, consequently, for Grupel as a supplier.

In the words of Gonçalves, “Angola has always been an important market for Grupel, for which we have a very special affection, and we will be very proud to participate actively in this market again, with the presentation of our solutions at FILDA.”

After the COVID years and times of uncertainty, Grupel wants to resume its mission of being close to its customers and hopes that both the AEF and FILDA are great opportunities to be in close communication with partners and potential business contacts.
