For its 2022 IELTS Prize, the British Council is now taking applications from test takers in Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa. September 30, 2022, is the last day for applications to be submitted.
High achievers who are ready to grow in their jobs and who have shown they are able to use what they have learnt from their undergraduate or graduate education to benefit society are awarded the IELTS Prize.

Each of the countries mentioned below will award seven fortunate IELTS test takers with a £3,000 prize to support their academic endeavors.
Advantages of the British Council IELTS Award
Test takers from Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa are eligible for the 2022 IELTS Prize.
You have to
be at least 18 years old, a citizen of the country from which you are applying (with the exception of Canadian applicants), have taken the IELTS test administered by the British Council between September 1, 2021, and September 15, 2022, and be able to submit a valid IELTS score with your application;
Schedule an IELTS exam; get a band score of at least 5.5 overall;
be submitting an application to a college or university that, as part of its admissions procedure, demands IELTS wherever in the globe;
Start your undergraduate or graduate studies in the academic year 2023–2024, and have your institution provide you a letter of admission no later than September 30th, 2022.
