African Leadership Magazine Inducts Oliver Klark into CEOs Hall of Fame

The African Leadership Magazine will today, February 22, induct the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Liberian tech firm RoviaGate Technology LLC into its prestigious hall of fame.

The honoree, Oliver W. Klark, Jr., is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of RoviaGate Technology LLC. An experienced business developer with proven innovative approaches to launching new products/services in emerging markets, Klark served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of RoviaGate in 2010 and 2011 respectively, before becoming CEO in 2012.

Founded in 2007 in the United States, RoviaGate Technology is a 100% Liberian-owned Information Communication Technology (ICT) firm providing solutions in data collection, warehousing, mining, and governance. The company relocated to Liberia in 2010.

“At RoviaGate Technology, we have been able to tackle that problem by providing SMART (Scalable – Marketable – Actionable – Resourceful – Technological) solutions through our applications and devices” Klark told the Daily Observer in an interview.

The company’s goal is to build capacity in several industry verticals; particularly government, financial services, security sector, and healthcare. This will lead to a data driven culture in the region by establishing a single source of truth (SSOT) that will enhance productivity and help business leaders to make more informed decision with regards to resource allocation and deployment. RoviaGate’s market position offers a unique perspective for sustainable collaborations and partnerships with global firms exploring growth opportunities, especially on the African continent.

Under his leadership, RoviaGate has grown into a center of innovative solutions to everyday problems faced by government and citizens in sub-Saharan Africa; with solutions deployed in countries including Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya. Over the past two years, Klark has led the design and development of internet of things (IOT) devices specifically for the African market, addressing all of the major challenges (power, connectivity, etc.) that prevent existing IOT devices from being effective in the region. Testing has been concluded and those devices will go on sale in five markets in July 2019.

Klark is also an innovator and avid inventor with several patents certificate in his name.

The 2019 shortlist of leading business CEOs across the continent to be inducted into the Hall of Fame will take place in an award ceremony at the sidelines of the African Leadership Magazine Persons of the Year, on Friday, February 22, 2019 a the Sandton Event Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.
