Rapper Sarkodie has been named as the highest earning Ghanaian artiste and the second highest earner in Africa.
This was revealed during the 5th All Africa Music Awards Business Summit which was held in Accra last week.
The list was compiled after an in-depth research was carried out by Forbes in collaboration with Channel O.

The rapper, whose real name is Michael Owusu Addo, was mentioned among the top 10 African music earners for the year 2017.
The rating was corroborated by the CEO of EIB Network, Bola Ray, who said Sarkodie is the only Ghanaian artiste to appear in the list.
The rapper is one of the richest musicians on the continent and is estimated to be worth more than a million dollars.
