Roedl and Partner Hosts Training Seminar For Leaders of Not-for-Profit Organizations

Roedl
& Partner Knowledge Institute is holding a special training
session for founders and leaders of not-for-profit (NFPs) organizations in
Lagos on Saturday 11^th August 2018 to further improve the
organizational capabilities of the NFPs.

The
seminar will include a mix of lectures, technical sessions, and case studies
through interaction with the participants and practical training. The sessions
will include an overview of the social sector in Nigeria, case study
discussions on structure, talent management in the social sector, financial
management for NFPs, and regulatory, legal and tax environment of the social
sector. The seminar will also be an opportunity to facilitate the exchange of
opinions and expertise regarding the management of NFPs in a multicultural
environment like Nigeria.

About the
Lead Speaker – Wole Oluyemi

The lead
speaker at the training will be Wole Oluyemi, the firm’s Regional Chairman and
Service Leader to our major NFP clients in West Africa. Wole is a chartered
accountant and business advisor with about two decades’ experience from Arthur
Andersen, KPMG, and Chevron where he had diversified assignments spanning
across Nigeria, Cameroon, South Africa, Ghana, Congo, Côte D’Ivoire, Angola and
the USA.

He is a
Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the
Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He is gradually becoming a
leading voice to forward-looking individuals and businesses across Africa
through his regular involvement in knowledge engagements and executive learning
programs in areas such as corporate governance, financial reporting and
corporate strategy (market entry strategy, tax strategy, and corporate
