Dangote gifts Super Falcons N50m for winning 2018 Nations Cup ▷ Nigeria news

– Super Falcons of Nigeria will get N75 million for winning the 2018 African Women Nations Cup in Ghana

– Aliko Dangote promised to give the Nigerian team the sum of N50 million while Abdulsamad Rabiu will release N25 million

– The Falcons were crowned nine time champions of Africa over the weekend after their win over South Africa

The Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been promised the sum of N50 million by business mogul Aliko Dangote who was impressed for their triumph at the 2018 African Women Nations Cup.

Super Falcons defeated South African ladies on penalties in the final played in Ghana last weekend as the two countries qualified for the 2019 World Cup in France.

And while welcoming them on their arrival from Ghana, the chief of staff to the president, Alhaji Abba Kyari revealed the good news to the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

“Two eminent Nigerians called and donated the sum of N50million and N25 million respectively to your team.

”Please rest very well. We will get back to you with the activities lined up for you in the coming days,” Kyari was reported to have told the Falcons at the airport.

Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu who is the Chairman of BUA company will also give the Super Eagles of Nigeria the sum of N25 million according to the report on Eaglesonline.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how the Super Falcons won their ninth AWCON title following a 4-3 win over South Africa after penalties in an entertaining fixture.

There were no goals during regulation time as both teams matched each other strength for strength all through 120 minutes.

Asisat Oshoala missed an 83rd minute penalty but that did not stop the Nigerian team from being victorious as goalkeeper Tochukwu saved the last kick taken by South Africa.
