AFRIMA Award 2018
On Saturday (the 24th of November, 2018), the fifth All Africa Music Awards ceremony took place in Accra (Ghana). African show business stars, as well as music fans and other guests attended this great event.
Every year, the AFRIMA Awards organizers encourage representatives of the music industry, who have achieved significant success. The winners are determined in 36 categories.

For instance, the well-known South African singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka received the 5th AFRIMA Legendary awards this year.
The AFRIMA International Committee awarded Akinwunmi Ambode (Executive Governor of Lagos State) for his promotion of the arts and tourism in Lagos State. Also, Lagos was noted as the hospitable location of the previous four AFRIMA Awards.
The very touching moment was during the awards to the music veteran from Ghana, Teddy Osei. He is a frontman of the legendary Afro-pop Osadebe group (1969).
