8th Africa HR Leaders Conference Ends in Accra

The 8th Africa Human Resource Leaders Conference, under the theme “Leading Africa’s HR Professionals Successfully into the Future Work Place” and organized by OML Africa has ended successfully in Accra.

The 2-day event was attended by nearly 100 Human Resource professionals and people in management who were addressed by a panel of seasoned experts from Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa. This important event was sponsored by SAP Africa and Persol Systems Ltd.

A key highlight at the conference was a presentation by Tshifhiwa Dombo, Principal Consultant – SAP ERP HCM SAP, South Africa who spoke on “’Improved Human Resource Processes to Lead Business Transformation”. He told delegates, “Improving and automating people processes is the key driver for better business results. Organizational management, people transactions and payroll processes can be simplified. HR professionals need to act more proactively and ensure they get measurable results from talent management suits to improve HR practices and talent development strategies”.

Other speakers included Dr. Olayiwola Oladapo, Director Strategy, CIPM Nigeria; Kwamina Amoasi-Andoh, Former National Programme Manager, ILO SCORE Project; Philip Oti-Mensah, Executive Director, OmniBSIC Bank; and Anita Wiafe-Asinor, Managing Consultant, OML Africa.
